Responsibility
We think sustainably and act responsibly.
Sustainability is more than a buzzword or trend – it is our compass.
As an energy-intensive manufacturing company in the plastics industry, we see ourselves as part of the problem – but also part of the solution! We have the leverage to reduce our own environmental impact in production, as well as that of our customers, through high-quality plastic solutions. In doing so, we create a positive impact for our industry and the environment.

Recognizing the Environment
The world, the market, and our customers are constantly evolving. To remain sustainably successful, we closely monitor developments. This allows us to identify opportunities early and avoid overlooking potential risks. We are fully aware: We are part of the problem — but also part of the solution.

Developing Strategy
To contribute to the solution, we follow a clear ambition: long-term and sustainable success. To achieve this, we have defined 12 fields of action through which we will take responsibility in the coming years – across the areas of Environment, Social, and Governance.

Implementing Within the Company
Solutions can only be created together. Our success is built on company-wide awareness, a culture of collaboration, and the integration of our fields of action into everyday work. For each other. With each other.

“As a family-owned business, we think and act in terms of generations. For us, sustainability is a matter close to our hearts and a core part of our DNA.”
Robert Höhner

Responsibility as an Opportunity
Sustainability is a holistic approach that combines environmental and resource protection with social responsibility and economic success. For us, sustainability means taking responsibility — for our planet, for the people within and beyond our company, and for a future-oriented economy. It is an opportunity to drive innovation, use resources more efficiently, and at the same time make a positive contribution — whether through climate-friendly technologies, fair trade, or the protection of human rights.
A Guide for the Future
Sustainability is not a fixed goal, but a dynamic process. It requires continuous learning, the courage to embrace change, and the willingness to explore new paths. It serves as our guide to act responsibly and successfully in a changing world. With this understanding of sustainability, we shape our corporate strategy and daily actions to help create a livable future together.

Responsibility as an Opportunity
For us, sustainability means taking responsibility — for our planet, for the people within and beyond our company, and for a future-oriented economy.
It is an opportunity to drive innovation, use resources more efficiently, and at the same time make a positive contribution — whether through climate-friendly technologies, fair trade, or the protection of human rights.
The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations provide the global framework for sustainable development. As a company, we see it as our responsibility to actively contribute to these goals. We structure our sustainability efforts into three key areas: Environment, Social, and Governance. In total, we pursue concrete objectives across twelve fields of action.
As part of our corporate strategy, sustainability is firmly embedded in the targets set for our executives and employees. Each field of action is guided by specific goals — including both long-term visions and measurable annual targets.

Our 12 Fields of Action
Through our 12 fields of action, we set clear goals to create real, positive change as a company. These are grouped into the following three categories:
Governance: Sustainability is to be anchored in the company structure and strategic goals implemented in everyday operations. Partnerships and internal communication are key levers. Governance is closely tied to strategy and creates structures for sustainable action.
Environment: Emissions, energy and material consumption, and waste are to be reduced through sustainable materials, technologies, and process optimization.
Social: Diversity, employee development, and high satisfaction promote an inclusive corporate culture and help achieve social goals.
Embedding in Practice
To ensure that sustainability is not viewed in isolation, its requirements must be an integrated part of our corporate strategy. A dedicated, group-wide Sustainability Department serves as the interface between external demands and internal actions.
Its focus is on identifying new topics at an early stage, evaluating them, and integrating them into our overall strategy and objectives.

We divide our sustainability efforts into the three areas of Environment, Social, and Governance.

We are green
To minimize emissions, energy consumption, and material usage, we consistently focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

We act socially
As a family-owned company, we embrace our responsibility by focusing on support, development, diversity, and empowerment.

We lead with intention
To keep pace with constant change, we rely on transparency, open communication, close collaboration, and strong partnerships.
