Governance

We lead deliberately

For a culture of responsible action

Well-thought-out governance forms the foundation for long-term successful and sustainable corporate development.

It sets the strategic direction, defines clear guidelines and ensures that all employees work together towards a common goal and continuously develop their skills. Our company history is characterised by constant renewal, targeted growth and strategic acquisitions. Since 2018 in particular, we have systematically expanded our service portfolio by acquiring specialised companies – with the aim of not only tapping into new markets, but also developing interdisciplinary solutions that span a range of manufacturing competencies.

Communication strategy

For us, putting corporate transformation and sustainability into practice means getting everyone on board and tackling it together. Because the best decisions are made together – through dialogue, openness and mutual trust. We are convinced that if we talk to each other, listen to each other and work together, we can master the challenges of our time and even grow from them.

What is important to us:

  • Sharing information that really matters
  • Harnessing the power of our teams
  • Making it easy to get involved
  • Talking to each other – even about difficult issues

Partnerships

The new economic and political conditions mean that individual companies without strong networks often have significantly less influence than was previously the case. That is why it is important for us to cultivate partnerships with companies, join networks and promote collaboration with universities.

Female Cross Mentoring Programme

Female leaders mentor talented young women for a year to strengthen their leadership skills.

Maschinenraum Momentum

The annual conference connects family businesses and invites discussion on current challenges and trends.

Kunststoffland NRW e.V.

A central industry network for the plastics industry that promotes cooperation and innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises.

Netzwerk Industrie Ruhrost e.V.

At the 19th general meeting held at our premises, it became clear what NIRO is all about: trust, exchange and genuine cooperation.

Innoclub

A platform where start-ups, SMEs and corporations network, drive innovation and grow together. We provide support as mentors.

Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid

As a member of the board, our managing director Andreas Balla is committed to developing solutions for the challenges facing the plastics industry.

Modern IT Tools

We want to make our work not only more effective, but also easier – for ourselves, our customers and our environment. Modern IT tools provide meaningful data that we use transparently to make better decisions.

As a manufacturing company, efficient and sustainable processes are essential for us. With an advanced process management solution, for example, we have introduced a powerful tool that analyses our processes in detail and continuously improves them.

Compliance

Standards for responsible cooperation

Treating our customers, suppliers, competitors and society with integrity is a matter of course and an obligation for us.

In an increasingly interconnected world, where supply chains are becoming more complex and detailed requirements are constantly increasing, compliance is playing an increasingly important role. Compliance forms the foundation for quality, reliability and transparency in our business relationships.

Our Code of Conduct

SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT

Partnership and responsibility in the supply chain

Responsible and sustainable procurement is essential for a functioning business and provides an effective lever for improving the environmental and social impact of our value chain.

CERTIFICATIONS

Integrated Management System (IMS)

For us, this is a strategic platform for achieving our sustainability goals, driving innovation and contributing to a responsible and sustainable economy.

MATERIAL COMPLIANCE

Compliance with numerous regulations

We ensure that our materials not only meet the high technical requirements of our customers, but also comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY

Protecting our employees

The safety of our employees is our top priority. Our goal is to create a safe and healthy working environment in which risks are systematically minimised and accidents are consistently prevented.

Example: Material Compliance

Dealing with the proposal to ban PFAS

At the beginning of 2024, the proposal to restrict or ban per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the German Bundestag's Environment Committee sparked a wide-ranging debate within the plastics processing industry.

The advantages, but also the risks, of PFAS substances lie in their durability. On the one hand, they function safely under extreme conditions of use because they remain chemically stable. On the other hand, their persistence poses a risk of accumulation in the environment and organisms.

We are ready to offer our full expertise in materials consulting to support companies in their transition to PFAS-free components.

“Compliance has three time frames: forward-looking, compliant and lagging behind. It is non-negotiable – we have to do it. And we have to do it right the first time.”

Sustainability Report 2025/26

A sustainability report is an important step in demonstrating what we are already doing. We want to be completely transparent, seek external feedback, encourage dialogue and inspire other stakeholders.
