Drive arrangements
Lateral installation
The Spann-Boy® TS belt tensioner is the ideal solution for applications with limited installation space, as it is mounted laterally next to the belt. It can be mounted on either the longitudinal or front side of the belt, or used as an idler pulley to ensure optimal belt tension.
Tension roller
The tension roller is made from Original "S"® black. It is based on UHMW-PE, offers good sliding properties, high wear resistance, is electrostatically dissipative, and ensures a long service life. For special belts, the rollers can be individually customized as needed.
Material usage
The housing of the tensioner is made of steel or, for a corrosion-resistant option, of material.
The high-quality ball bearings are "Made in Germany" and offer particularly long service life.

THE PERFECT COMBINATION
TENSIONING AND GUIDING
We recommend using guide rails in combination with a belt tensioner, as this increases the service life of the belts. MURTFELDT belt guides are designed for low-friction motion in systems and machines. They are made from our high-quality Original "S"® and are suitable for round belts, V-belts, timing belts, and flat belts. Optionally, they are prepared with a corresponding groove for use with a steel C-profile.
