For a customer in the pharmaceutical industry, we developed a custom tablet feeder that stands out due to its low weight, high precision, and ease of assembly. The new component replaces previous metal rails and ensures precise and stable guidance of the tablets within the machine. The two-part feeder is made of the proven material Murylat® SP light-grey [FS]® and is designed so that both components support each other and can be precisely fixed – ensuring maximum stability during use. Thanks to our many years of experience in developing pharmaceutical plastic components, the solution was quickly realized in close collaboration with the customer and seamlessly integrated into the existing system.

#APPLICATION EXAMPLE

For a customer in the pharmaceutical industry, we developed a complete conveying and packaging unit for the precise and gentle handling of tablets. The system includes numerous functional elements – including a diverter, taper, tablet chute, 90° turner, counting unit, and stops – and reliably moves the tablets from a horizontal to a vertical position, to then package them safely in tubes without breaking. All components are made from our material Murylat® natur [FS]®, which was specifically selected for use in the pharmaceutical industry:
