MURSINT® PA12 BLUE – SAFETY IN FOOD & PHARMA

Our first in-house development in the field of selective laser sintering (SLS) is based on PA12 and was developed specifically for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The material enables components to be dyed completely blue, ensuring reliable visual detectability. In combination with our MurPearl® Air smoothing process, the parts meet the highest standards of quality, appearance and EU food compliance.

MurSint® PA12 blue was developed specifically for the high demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The material is completely dyed blue – not just on the surface, but throughout the entire component. The intense colouring allows foreign particles to be detected immediately: if a component breaks off, it is immediately noticeable – as blue does not occur in natural foods. This increases product safety and supports critical HACCP and QS processes.
