With Spann-Twist, we present the first of its kind, manufactured in a hybrid design featuring a 3D-printed lightweight body combined with MURTFELDT’s Original "S"® material for roller chains. The best of cutting-edge technology and the iconic material: Original "S"® green, renowned for its outstanding properties.

Does the world need another chain tensioner? A good question – one we can clearly answer with “yes” after developing the first prototypes of Spann-Twist. This innovation in tensioning systems impresses with its additive manufacturing design, offering a significantly lighter weight compared to traditional cast or steel tensioners. Conventional lever tensioners, by contrast, are inflexible and prone to corrosion. And the fact that traditional tensioners require manual adjustment leaves room for costly errors. 

Spann-Twist helps save both time and money. Its modular design allows for completely hassle-free integration into existing systems. Visual markings make installation even easier by providing clear feedback. Ideal for system integration and combined use with other chain tensioners. We will soon be adding versions for rollers and sprockets. Custom adjustments to the Spann-Twist, as requested by you, are also possible after consultation.
