Original S® plus+ FoodProtect [FS]®, produced on the basis of PE-UHMW TG 1.1, fully meets the food industry's requirements for the detectability of plastic foreign bodies in food. "Food Protect" stands for and includes two indispensable properties: food-safe and, at the same time, X-ray and metal detectable.

Metallic foreign bodies in food are reliably detected and removed using metal detectors. However, plastic particles from system components, among other things, are problematic. Thanks to the addition of additives in Original S® plus+ FoodProtect [FS]®, all common metal detectors used in the food industry are able to detect and sort out plastic particles.*

The abbreviation [FS] at the end of the name stands for Food Safe. This plastic is therefore certified for contact with food.
