High temperatures often occur in industrial applications, which our long-established and proven PE – Original S® Green® – could not withstand. What is required here are plastics that, in addition to well-known properties such as wear and impact resistance and chemical resistance, also exhibit increased temperature resistance.

This is precisely what Original S® plus+ HeatStabilised offers, a modified PE and likewise a member of the Original S® Group, thus providing extended application possibilities. Even at high operating temperatures of briefly 120°C and continuous temperatures of 100°C, the molecular structure of this ultra-high molecular weight PE does not change. Specially developed additives significantly increase the thermal oxidation point. Original S® plus+ HeatStabilised, produced on the basis of PE-UHMW TG 1.1, is thus suitable for a wide range of industrial applications characterised by elevated continuous temperatures.
