Industrial applications often involve high temperatures that our tried and tested PE - Original S® green - has not been able to withstand for many decades. What is needed is a plastic that has increased temperature resistance in addition to the usual properties such as wear, impact and chemical resistance.
This is exactly what Original S® plus+ HeatStabilised, a modified PE and also a member of the Original S® group, offers, opening up a wide range of applications. The molecular structure of this ultra-high-molecular-weight PE does not change, even at high operating temperatures of 120°C for short periods and 100°C for long periods. Specially developed additives significantly increase the thermal oxidation point. Original S® plus+ HeatStabilised, based on PE-UHMW TG 1.1, is therefore suitable for a wide range of industrial applications characterised by high continuous temperatures.
