Murdopol® natural [FS]® is an all-round high-tech material. Its well-balanced ratio of strength and toughness makes it ideal for applications with high dynamic loads. The semi-finished products - based on PA12 C - are manufactured using a pressureless monomer casting process. This means that Murdopol® stock shapes have very low residual stresses. Murdopol® also has an excellent range of mechanical properties and the lowest moisture absorption of all polyamides. Compared to extruded PA12, Murdopol® offers advantages in terms of mechanical and physical properties.
The abbreviation [FS]® at the end of the name stands for Food Safe. This means that the material is certified for use with food.
