High-Performance Telescopic Tube for Industrial Extraction Technology

Reinventing Efficient Extraction: Hybrid Telescopic Tube with Original "S"® green® for Dense, Ultra-Light, and Modular Extraction Solutions

Published: May 2025 • Reading time: approx. 2 minutes

In many industrial applications – from mobile extraction systems to highly automated production lines – efficient, reliable, and compact extraction technology is essential. The field of application is characterized by confined installation spaces, high mobility requirements, and strict weight specifications. Traditional solutions quickly reach physical or technical limits here.

The solution: A highly functional telescopic tube in hybrid design – combining the best of three worlds.

Technological Structure

Three Manufacturing Technologies, One Solution:

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Tube (CFRP):

The core of the system is a multi-part, wound CFRP telescopic tube. It enables a maximum extension length of up to 2500 mm with a total weight of only about 1300g. The CFRP elements are guided without play, ensuring extreme rigidity and minimal weight – perfect for precise movements even during dynamic use.

Additively Manufactured Connection Elements:

The connection geometries – e.g., adapters, flanges, or transitions – are specifically tailored to customer requirements using additive manufacturing. This approach allows maximum design freedom, short development cycles, and seamless integration into existing systems. At the same time, functional features such as brackets or guide contours can be directly integrated.
