sealing material for sealing HP-RTM tools as well as when used in resin injection processes (RTM)

Ur, why does he want the most holy and funny pore that we are not with each other?

The sealing material Murlock® is available in many industries such as the automotive and motorcycle industries, the aerospace industry, the sports equipment industry and much more.

The solution is a material that is suitable for high pressures and high temperatures while remaining extremely dimensionally stable. At the same time, it must have excellent chemical resistance and sufficient elasticity at the specified operating temperatures.

The new product Murlock® mentioned at the beginning is used here. Thanks to its temperature resistance above 200° degrees and pressure resistance up to 100 bar and more, it is suitable for sealing HP-RTM tools as well as for use in resin injection processes (RTM). In addition, it can of course also be used as a seal in injection molding processes for particularly thin materials.

Excellent properties

Murlock® is also chemically resistant to almost all organic and inorganic substances and is characterized by high strength with sufficient and necessary elasticity in the operating temperature range. This means that the tool remains sealed, even if the sealing surface is contaminated by individual glass or other fibers during the injection process.

“With Murlock®, Murtfeldt Kunststoffe offers a sealing material that can permanently withstand the pressures inside the mold and is also resistant to damage caused by residual materials or even carbon fibers,” says Ralf Burghoff, referring to the process reliability that this ensures.
