On 5 September, we had the honour of hosting the member assembly of Kunststoffland NRW e.V. at our premises in Dortmund. Kunststoffland NRW is a network that unites and promotes the interests of the plastics industry in North Rhine-Westphalia. It connects companies, institutions, and research centres in the sector to develop innovative solutions and strengthen knowledge transfer.

The day began with a board meeting from 12:00 to 14:00, during which key strategic topics of the association were discussed. From 14:00 onwards, the general assembly took place, attended by around 70 participants from various companies and institutions. Several of our employees also guided the guests through our production facilities during an exclusive factory tour, explaining the manufacturing process. This gave visitors fascinating insights into our operations and technologies.

The assembly was opened with a brief welcome speech by our Managing Director Andres Balla. This was followed by board elections and two-minute pitches from new members, who introduced themselves and their companies in short, concise presentations. This agenda item was particularly well received and helped to strengthen networking within the community.

The day concluded with sunny weather and a delicious buffet. A relaxed get-together provided ample opportunity for personal exchange and networking. We would like to sincerely thank Kunststoffland NRW for the great collaboration and look forward to many more joint projects.
