Visit from the Minister for Culture and Science
In early December, we had the honour of welcoming Ina Brandes to our company. Together with Stefan Schreiber, Chief Executive Officer of the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce, our site manager Deniz Sen, and Robert and Detlev Höhner, she toured our facilities and discussed various factors and challenges facing our industry.

The sealing material Murlock® is available to many industries such as the automotive and motorcycle industry, the aerospace industry, the sports equipment industry and many more.
The solution therefore consists of a material that is suitable for high pressures and high temperatures while remaining extremely dimensionally stable. At the same time, it must have excellent chemical resistance and show sufficient elasticity at the specified operating temperatures.
This is where the new product Murlock® mentioned at the beginning comes into play. Thanks to its temperature resistance above 200° degrees and pressure resistance up to 100 bar and more, it is suitable for sealing HP-RTM tools as well as for use in resin injection processes (RTM). In addition, it can of course also be used as a seal in injection molding processes for particularly low-viscosity materials.
