When there is not enough space for a conventional tensioning system beneath the chain, the Spann-Boy® TS is used. The installation takes place beside the chain, requiring significantly less space. Our Spann-Boy® TS model is always supplied with a robust steel housing, with durability and reliable operation being the top priorities.
Two different versions are available: with curved profile and with sprocket. The Spann-Boy® TS is equipped with a light and a heavy spring, which can be released individually or together depending on the required tensioning force (light, heavy, extra heavy). The housing features integrated holes and elongated slots, allowing for easy installation and offering flexible adjustment options for precise re-tensioning.
