The roller chain tensioner Spann-Box® TYPE 1 with sprocket is used in applications requiring consideration of limited installation space or high chain speeds (> 1 m/s). The small deflection radius and heavy tension pressure enable compensation for significant chain elongation. Installation is simple and flexible: with optional mounting brackets, the Spann-Box® can be easily integrated into your system. A stainless steel version for special requirements is available upon request, due to dimensional variations.
In the TYPE K-S, the sprocket is mounted laterally.
