The GET racing team presents its new racing car: Here comes the FS224!

The student racing team from the Technical University of Dortmund has once again opted for an electric drive in the design of its new racing car model, and has once again improved its performance compared to last year.

After months of work, the GET Racing Team is ready for the 2024 season. They unveiled the new car at the official rollout at the end of May. The FS224 will accompany them to races in Hungary, Germany and France. And the car is impressive! It sets completely new standards in terms of aerodynamics and weight: the downforce coefficient is cl*A > 6 and the weight has been reduced by 20 kg. Its predecessors, the FS223 and FS221, were also electric racecars.

The students of GET racing Dortmund e.V. have been building racing cars for Formula Student for about 20 years. The racing series is an international design competition for students in the formula style. This year's Formula Student Germany will take place in Hockenheim from 12 to 18 August. It is one of the world's largest competitions for electric and driverless vehicles.
