More than industrial 3D printing

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TECHNOLOGY FOR EVERY 3D PRINTING APPLICATION:

SELECTIVE LASER SINTERing
(SLS)

In selective laser sintering (SLS), a fine powder film of polyamide (PA12) is applied with a wiper and selectively fused by a laser. By lowering the build platform layer by layer, the part is created precisely and without additional support structures - unsintered powder takes over this function. This makes it easy to produce undercut contours and complex geometries.

FUSED LAYER MODELING (FLM)

In the FLM process, components are built up layer by layer from a plastic filament that is selectively melted. This allows complex geometries to be produced, with support material for overhangs and undercuts if required. The layered structure remains visible and the properties of the component can vary depending on the direction. Fine structures and tight tolerances can be achieved to a limited extent.

DIGITAL LIGHT PROCESSINg (DLP)

In the DLP process, UV light cures a resin layer by layer, which is covered by an LCD display. The build plate is lowered into a resin tank to build the component precisely from top to bottom. DLP offers the highest surface quality, minimal rework and exceptional accuracy. Support structures made from the same material are mechanically removed.

VARIABLE FUSED GRANULAR FABRICATION (VFGF)

VFGF is a process in which components are built up layer by layer from bottom to top using a nozzle with a variable nozzle diameter. The starting material for the process is a plastic granulate. The variable nozzle diameter allows both thin (visible external surfaces with finer structures) and thick (internal geometries) layers to be applied during the process.

OUR MOST POPULAR

MATERIALS FPR EVERY REQUIREMENT

Choosing the right material is critical in industrial 3D printing. Our overview shows you the full range of high-performance materials we offer for a wide variety of applications. Whether you need high strength, temperature resistance or special surface properties, we have the right solution for your projects.

PA2200

FOR SLS

PA2200 is based on polyamide 12 and is suitable for all parts that require high hygienic and/or mechanical properties, is biocompatible, resistant to chemicals and can be easily reworked.

Alumide

FOR SLS

Alumide is a PA12 material blended with aluminium, which has excellent dimensional stability, heat resistance and strength, making it particularly suitable for robust parts. It is also very easy to machine.

PA32GF

FOR SLS

PA3200GF is also a PA12 material that has been moulded with glass beads to give it excellent mechanical properties. As a result, components are very dimensionally stable and stiff and have a high elongation at break.

MurSint® PA12 blUE

EXCLUSIVELY WITH US

The material is based on PA12 and has been specially developed for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. It allows the sintering of blue coloured components for visual identification. In combination with our MurPearl® polishing process, it is both FDA compliant and food compliant (EU).

ABS

FOR FDM

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a thermoplastic material that we process using the FLM/FDM process. ABS is particularly suitable for components that need to be resistant to mechanical and environmental influences.

TPU

FOR FDM

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU for short) is a urethane-based elastomer. TPU is particularly suitable for flexible, complex, rubber-like components. It is very durable, thermally stable and resistant to oils, greases and some solvents.

OUR CORE COMPETENCE:

THE PERFECT FINISH FROM FUNCTION TO APPEARANCE..

In recent years we have perfected our finishing expertise: From high quality surface finishes such as varnishing and colouring to functional surfaces such as PUR coatings or ESD paints, we can do almost anything.

MURPEARL®

CHEMICAL-THERMAL SMOOTHING

With our specially developed MurPearl® smoothing process, we can smooth components to make them water and dirt repellent. The components are sealed without the need for additional material.

DYEING

PROTECTION AGAINST DIRT

Due to the porous surface, we always recommend the use of coloured components as dirt is quickly absorbed. Standard colours are black, blue, lime green, orange, red, yellow and purple. Other colours available on request.

ESD COATING

PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATICS

A significant improvement can be achieved by applying conductive surfaces to substrates where an electrical charge must be avoided for operational safety reasons (electrostatic discharge, sparking).

Limitless possibilities with 3D printing and mechanical post-processing

The perfect combination of industrial 3D printing and precise mechanical machining opens up new dimensions in manufacturing. Complex geometries produced by additive manufacturing are refined by mechanical machining into highly functional, customised components. Whether it is a tight fit, special finish or additional functionality, this synergy offers endless possibilities for innovative solutions.
